The Boot Camp, Faqs! Facts! Fax! and Over 2 You archives are now more or less complete though there is still some tidying up to do. The site is now indexed and if you know what you are looking for try the Search box below.

 

Archives for other publications are slowly being added, though this is a mammoth undertaking, involving over 4000 articles containing more than 4.5 million words, so it is going to take a while to complete.

Note that some of the material is getting on a bit and a few web links may no longer work as the sites they refer to have disappeared or moved. Prices will almost certainly have changed as well, though in general most PC and home entertainment related items have actually got cheaper.

 

The earliest of the current archives date from the early 1990s, which is when I started storing material on CD-ROMs and PC hard drives and is therefore the most accessible. Prior to that most of my backups were on floppy disc and it is going to take while to extract them. The biggest problem, however, is the data stored on older discs formats, and most of my early work from the late 1970's, which now exists only on paper, in boxes full of old magazines. The only way to get them into a web readable format is to scan them, a job that could take some time...
